A short orientation glossary and a draft reflection worksheet created for this preview. These are not a completed course or a recommendation to trade.
01 / ORIENTATION GLOSSARY
Start with
the vocabulary.
- Index
- A reference measure for a defined basket of securities. An index and a tradable product linked to it are different things.
- ETF
- An exchange-traded fund. An ETF has its own structure, trading price and mechanics.
- Futures contract
- A standardized derivative contract. Margin is not the same as the total exposure or maximum possible loss.
- Option
- A contract with defined terms involving a right or an obligation. Buying and writing options have different risks.
- Simulation
- A practice environment that does not execute the example with live capital. Simulated outcomes do not establish actual performance.
- Process review
- A structured evaluation of preparation, decisions and adherence to rules, with the outcome considered in context.
02 / DRAFT WORKSHEET
A decision
worth reviewing.
A plain-text worksheet for reflecting on a simulated or historical example: context, uncertainty, risk questions, decision and review. It contains no trading rules or proprietary setup claims.
